The Cooper Cougars picked up their first district win of the season last week, and they were looking to keep the momentum going into their match-up against the Odessa Bronchos at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa.

The Bronchos struck first with a touchdown run by C.J. Eddison to put Odessa up 7-0.

Cooper would answer with a touchdown of their own. Skyler Wilson took it into the end zone to tie the game at 7.

Cooper would take the lead when KV Hazlett intercepted an Odessa pass and took it all the way for the touchdown.

Lorenzo Joe added a touchdown of his own to put the Cougars up 21-17.

Cooper would take it 42-31 over the Odessa Bronchos.
