Cooper Falls In Close Game with WF Rider

The Cooper Cougars lost a close game against Wichita Falls Rider 39-36
The Cooper Cougars took a trip to Wichita Falls to take on the 14th ranked Class 4A Rider Raiders, and it was a wild one.

Late in the 4th Cooper goes up 29-26 after a short touchdown run by Trey Dye.

Rider would answer with a touchdown pass from Quarterback Chase London to T.J. Vasher to go up 32-29.

Cooper staying in it. Quarterback Lorenzo Joe connecting with Denver Gravitt, who takes it in for the score. 36-32 Cougars.

Rider would take the lead thanks to a long pass from London to Davon Allison to go up 39-36.

Rider would hold on and take it 39-36 in a back-and-forth contest against Cooper.
