A bucket by Devin Doolittle would get the Coguars on the board early with a two point lead, and Cooper would continue that hot start a short time later.
Of a missed basket, the Coogs would turn the ball up the court in transition. That's when Chuck Gilliard found Jairon Sanders hanging out in the corner on the other end. Sanders would knock down a mid-range jumper to extend the early Cooper lead to six.
Central would not be silenced on Tuesday night though. A short time later the Bobcats found Logan Gibbs in the corner for a three-pointer. Gibbs, who was fouled on the shot, then drained the free-throw to complete the four point play.
That would get the Bobcats back in the game early, and trim the Cougar lead down to just two.
The game would be played within a ten point cushion for most of the night, with neither team taking control until the second half. In the end it would be the Bobcats heading back to San Angelo with a 66-61 victory.
