The date has been set for the court martial of Senior Airman Christopher Perez for his alleged involvement in the Tiffany Klapheke case.

Perez was living with Klapheke while her husband, Thomas Klapheke, was deployed over seas. Perez was also staying in the home with Tiffany when Tamryn Klapheke, Tiffany's then 22-month-old daughter, died from severe neglect in August of 2012.

Testimony from a pre-court martial hearing alleged that Thomas Klapheke knew of the two living together and actually met Perez with Tiffany through a social website.

Perez is charged with dereliction of duty, child endangerment and adultery. The original court martial date was in early March, but was delayed in order to allow more time for the collection of evidence. The court martial will now take place on October 15.

Perez is still assigned to the 7th Security Forces Squadron at Dyess.

Thomas Klapheke's divorce from Tiffany Klapheke was finalized on Tuesday, August 6. He officially left the Airforce on August 1.
