Cross Plains High Schools Wins Big

High school students returned to the Big Country with a National Championship this weekend.
The Cross Plains High School Future Farmers of America Program competed in the National Competition this weekend and placed first at the Career Development Event in Indianapolis.

Cross Plains competed against 38 other states and won the Team Championship and the National Titles.

The students that competed were Katharine Good who placed first nationally and Zoie Walker, Joe Holland, and Payton Porter.

Ag instructor Roy Richie has taught for 30 years in Cross Plains and this is his first national championship as an instructor.
