Starting with Class 5A. The Abilene High Eagles lost in Week 3 of the season, but the 2-2 Eagles are ranked 18th in the state according to Harris. Abilene High continues the season on Saturday against #7 Longview.

Snyder, Wylie, and Brownwood are in the Harris top 25. The 3-1 Tigers are tied with Monahans for the 15th spot in the rankings. Wylie drops to 19th this week after losing to Waco last week. The Brownwood Lions are 23rd. Lions running back Stehl Ratliff broke his wrist in the teams victory over Llano.

The Bangs Dragons lead 3 teams in the Class 2A Division I Harris Ratings. Bangs is 18th. Eastland is just 3 spots back at number 21, and Breckenridge is next at 23. The Buckaroos are getting ready for a showdown with #1 ranked Godley.

Cisco is 1 of just 3 Class 2A teams from the Big Country that are still undefeated. The Loboes enter the week in 7th in Division II. Hawley is another 1 of those undefeated teams, and they debut in the Harris Ratings this week at #23.

The Albany Lions are one of the hottest teams in the Big Country. They are averaging over 40 points a game and they are the 5th ranked team in Class A Division I. Goldthwaite is 8th this week and they are set to face off with #2 Mart this week. Stamford starts Week 4 at the 9th ranked team in Div. I.

Munday has rebounded from it's loss on opening night to Stamford. They are 5th in the Class A Division II Harris Ratings. Hamlin has lost 3 straight, but they are still in the top 25 at #12.
