Jonathan Scott, 29, is accused of wrecking into a vehicle and leaving the scene. According to the arrest report, the police officer saw Scott was being followed by the owners of the vehicle he crashed into.
The police officer tried to stop Scott but he began to drive faster and evade his arrest. The reporter further states that Scott was recklessly driving when he lost control and collided head-on with another vehicle. The second wreck happened on N. 10th & Westwood.
Scott proceeded to flee on foot where he was later found on the roof of a building on the 4000 block of Concord Drive.
The driver of the second vehicle suffered injuries and was sent to Hendrick Medical Center. Police say the vehicle Scott was driving was stolen out of Taylor County.
As of Sunday, Scott is at the Taylor County Jail and was charged with State Jail Felony Fail/Stop Render Aid, State Jail Felony Theft Motor Vehicle, State Jail Felony Evading Arrest with a motor vehicle and on foot.
His bonds total up to $13, 000.
