Around 1 a.m. Saturday morning, two women were driving northbound on Loop 322 when they apparently started arguing.
During the argument, the passenger -- 35-year-old Crystal Holman -- opened the car door and leaped from the moving truck, according to police.
Holman was taken to Hendrick Medical Center with serious injuries and later passed away.
No citations were given as the driver passed a field sobriety test, though a blood test was taken in order to clear the driver from any fault.
Police said said they cannot tell if the passenger was intoxicated until an autopsy is performed.
No foul play is suspected.
