The ACU Wildcats, who appear to be turning the corner after picking up a series win over Stephen F. Austin this past weekend.

Now their attention turns to an in town rival, the McMurry War Hawks.

While ACU appears to be playing their best baseball heading into their lone contest against the War Hawks, the same can be said for McMurry, and the Wildcats expect McMurry to be more of a challenge than many would think.

Britt Bonneau said "Probably going to be our last time to play McMurry. John (Byington) has a good ball club over there. I know that it's going to be a great day for everybody who comes out and celebrates a great man. A guy with great character in Gary McCaleb. It's going to be great day for ACU baseball  and ACU athletics with him being honored out here, and we're going to have to come out here and compete and hopefully we can get rested and  get ready to go."

Garrett Demeyere said "I mean obviously they're in Abilene so it's going to be a good home game, and we just need to come out and compete like we did these past few days and hopefully get a win."

The Wildcats and War Hawks hit the diamond at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon.
