The AISD board of trustees held its monthly board meeting at the Woodson Early Childhood Center.

The purpose of the meeting being held there was to show taxpayers where their money would go if a $87 million bond is passed in November.

Dozens toured the school and saw what needs to be fixed, but only one person present was not associated with the district.

Committee members who do not work for the district say they want voters to come to the next meeting so they can experience what students go through on a daily basis before making their decision.

The next meeting will be October 7th at 5:30pm. That will be at Johnston Elementary School.
