BLOCK fest returned to Woodson early childhood center Friday. The researched-based exhibit helped to raise awareness of early math and science learning.
Woodson Early Childhood Center held their second Block Fest put on by the Twiga Foundation. Children and their parents participated in a series of five stations that consisted of wooden, foam, plastic, and paper blocks.
All children, ages 8 months to 8 years, were able participate. The entire exhibit lasted one hour and visitors are even able to purchase a take-home booklet on the learning of blocks at the end of the event.
