Expensive nights out can be a real budget buster. With the economy being what it is, its getting harder to afford high-end partys.

But that doesnt mean theres less socializing going on--theres just a change in what "fun" means.

Cheap doesnt have to be a bad word; just make an attitude adjustment.

The sociologist we spoke with says this is also a great way to make people feel connected again, in a time when the most connecting were doing is rarely face-to-face, but over the computer or cell phone.
