The City of Weinert is now going to Stage 6 water restrictions, the final stage, due to decreasing water supply.

Water customers will be allocated so much water per people per household. This stage goes into effect as of August 18, and the water dock will be shut down and only used for drinking water only.

Household size     gallons/month
1 or 2                 3,000
3 or 4                 4,000
5 or 6                 5,000
7 or 8                 6,000

Each thousand gallons that customers go over the allocated amount will be assessed a charge at the rate of $10.00 per thousand over that amount. Example: If 1 or 2 in the household use 4,ooo gallons, a fine of $10.00 will be added to that house's water bill.

The city is working on an emergency plan to run 75 feet or less pipeline to connect to miller creek until pump station is built.
