Coffee Club: Do Pets Feel Emotions?

Many of us consider our pets to be members of the family, which means we often treat them like humans. But do you believe that your pet has feelings and emotions?
It's something many dog owners have long believed, but new research published in the journal, Current Biology, finds dogs do tune into the feelings out their owners.

That's because a dog's brain processes human voices in the same way our brains do--and they can tell by the sound of your voice if you're happy or sad.

So that high-pitched voice you use when cuddling your puppy? Yep, it actually has a purpose in communicating with your pet.

Do you believe animals have human-like feelings and emotions?
