Coffee Club: Does This Type of Advertising Really Work?

A bikini-clad Paris Hilton chows down on a cheeseburger for Carl's Jr.'s latest advertisement. Does this kind of marketing really work?
Fast food restaurant chain, Carl's Jr., has brought back Paris Hilton in its latest commercial.

Roughly nine years after the bikini-clad Hilton became an internet sensation in her first Carl's Jr. commercial, she appears with sports illustrated model, Hannah Ferguson, in the new ad.

Advertising execs are hoping this latest spot measures up to the first commercial which was viewed more than 350 million times on the company's website and led to a major spike in hamburger sales.

So is seeing an attractive celebrity in an advertisement  enough to get you to pull out your wallet?
