According to travel booking service Switchfly, this year's average vacation lasts 6 days. That's a day and a half longer than last year.

Travel industry analysts say people have more money so they are taking longer vacations.

This year's top travel destinations: Brazil (for the World Cup), Las Vegas, Orlando and Cancun, Mexico.
