Coffee Club: Tweet and Cheat?

Coffee Club: Tweet and Cheat?

A new study suggests those in relationships may want to use caution when using sites like Twitter.
Can 140 characters ruin your relationship? One new study thinks so and says that tweeting may lead to infidelity and divorce.

The University of Missouri just released a study that found the more active you are on Twitter, the more Twitter-related conflict you may have with your partner in your relationship.

Researchers found that being very active on Twitter can lead to conflict in some relationships.

And that trend was the same, regardless of length of your relationship. Couples who were in long-term relationships were just as vulnerable to this effect as those in new relationships.

However, they also admit that other factors may come in to play in relationships that are struggling.

Either way they say it's probably better for your relationship if, when you are with your spouse or significant other, to put down your phone and focus on each other.

Is it easier to flirt online, because people feel safe behind a screen? Do people cross the line, online?
