Cold Weather Keeps Stores and Heating Companies in Brownwood Busy

KTAB Brownwood bureau reporter Kimberly Sears takes a look at how some businesses are seeing an increase in customers as the temperature decreases.
With the cold still lingering in Texas, many people are doing anything to stay warm. In Brown County, shelves are empty where heaters use to stand, and heating companies are receiving more calls than usual.

Aaron Cone Heating says they're responding to at least 12 maintenance calls a day. Most of the calls haven't been extremely costly, but it  cost around $100 to have someone check your heating unit.

Stores in Brownwood are in short supply of heaters. Walmart and Home Depot are sold out. No relief is in sight, as warehouses aren't receiving any more heaters soon.
