Coleman Starts 2011 On The Right Foot

The Coleman Bluecats finished last in their district in 2010, and they are picked to do that again this year.

But don't tell the Bluecats, they have started the new season with 2 straight victories. And the coach says it's all about the grey matter between your ears.

"We've lost a lot of close ballgames in the past because we didn't have the mental edge, so I though physically if we could beat the man across from us, then we devote a lot of the time in the beginning of the season to the mental aspect of it, and it's paid off" Says Coach Brad Ballard

Anthony Thomas adds, "He comes out here everyday and tells us that he likes starting from the bottom, and we understand what he wants from us. You know, we realize that he needs us and we need him. "

Wayne Sorsham adds, "We all have a very good positive attitude.  Everybody comes out here everyday wanting to work, wanting to hit."

Coach Ballard and his Bluecats hit the road again this week. They travel down to Early to face the Longhorns on Friday.
