The Cooper boys and girls basketball teams were swept on Tuesday night by the Coronado Mustangs.

The girls would start off the night, and the Lady Mustangs would be fast out of the gates in the first quarter. They'd jump out to a 13-0 lead before Tierra Cherry got the Lady Coogs on the board. In the end the Lady Mustangs would pull away from the pack and win 61-24.

Coronado would get on the board first in the boys game, but a bucket by Jairon Sanders would tie the game up in the early goings. Then the Mustangs would wake up, and go on a run to take an early lead.

Cooper would rally to make it a close game, but the Mustangs would hang on down the stretch to win it by the count of 47-42.
