The Cooper Cougars stretched their winning streak to four with a victory over Midland High on Friday night.

It would actually be the Cooper defense that came up with the first big play of the game. Once again it would be K.V. Hazlett that would up with the ball after a Midland High fumble.

That would set-up Cooper quarterback Lorenzo Joe for a touchdown run to give the Cougars a 7-0 lead.

A short time later Cooper would strike again, but this time through the air with a touchdown pass from Joe to Aaron Anderson. That stretched the Cooper lead to 14-0.

The would cruise from there to a 49-14 win over Midland, and improve to 4-1 in the district.
