Head coach Todd Moebes is looking for two running backs to step up this spring for his football team.

The Cougars have to find a way to replace the over 3,100 yards that is set to graduate with Lorenzo Joe and Trey Dye.

Skylar Wilson and Kristian Breedlove are the backs that are expected to get the job done.

"They've been good. Something that you can't replace is experience and they got Friday night experience from last year. They're really drawing on that experience right now, and leading the younger guys," said head coach Todd Moebes.

"Spring ball is going to help us a lot because we're going to get to check our little things, get our little things right. The stuff that Trey did we're going to get people over there in those spots Just play, replace, and reload," said running back Skylar Wilson.

"It's awesome how they've improved. It's great when you have two great backs behind you, and Skylar Wilson and Breedlove, you almost couldn't ask for any better. They run as hard as they can. They play hard-nosed football, and it's great having them behind us," said offensive lineman Hunter Hawkins.

Wilson is the leading returner at running back. He rushed for 427 yards and 5 touchdowns last season. Breedlove found the end zone 2 times in 2013... The Red/Blue game is a week from tomorrow at Shotwell Stadium.
