Courthouse Community Remembers Old Friend

Abilene's legal community pay tribute to longtime Abilene attorney Malcolm Schulz, who passed away over the weekend
Longtime Abilene attorney Malcolm Schulz passed away on March 8 at the age of 88. Schulz was a fixture at the Taylor County Courthouse for decades. We sat down with some of his friends and admirers to remember Schulz' legacy.

Visitation for Malcolm C. Schulz is Wednesday, March 12th at the Hamil Family Funeral Home. The hours are from 5-7 p.m.

Schulz was involved in many high-profile cases throughout his 65-year career. In one of his most infamous cases, Schulz was the defense attorney for the Andrew Cantu case, the man convicted and sentenced to death row for a triple murder-for-hire in 1990.
