CPS Supervisors Placed Under Leave

CPS Supervisors Placed Under Leave

The employees have been removed from their positions as the investigation continues.
Representatives from child protective services tell us they have placed all three of the supervisors under investigation on emergency leave.

Gretchen Denny, Bit Whittaker and Barbara McDaniel have received memos today notifying them about the decision.

The memos come from the assistant commissioner telling them that this is due to the current police investigation.

During this time they must remain accessible to the commissioner and a CPS field director.

They will be considered to be on alternate work duty and may possibly be called in to work on other duties for cps.

However, they will no longer assume their positions there as supervisors.
