Dyess Chapel Awarded ACC Large Chapel Organization Award

Dyess Receiving Honor For The Resource's Their Chapel Provides
Dyess Air Force Base has received many awards over the years but never one like this. The 7th Bomb Wing Chapel has been honored for the resources it provides to the base. The award is called the 2013 Air Combat Command Large Chapel Organization award.

Numerous aspects contributed to this honor. They were the first ACC to secure a civilian priest. They completed a construction project that would add a new 3,000 square feet classroom for religious teaching to the base. Also, they have had two chaplains deployed in the last year.
