The Eagles have scored 138 points in the last 3 games. As a matter of fact, they topped 50 points in the last 2 games.

For the coach, seeing his guys continue to improve has been a great thing.

Head coach Steve Warren said, "Execution is a lot better, obviously, and that starts with your offensive line giving Derek some time, and Derek is making great decisions now. He's really playing well. He's coming into his own as the leader of our offense, and doing a lot of great things. Those guys are confident now. You could feel it on the sidelines. They were encouraging the defense to just get us a stop and we'll win this game, and certainly that exactly what happened."

The Eagles bring that potent offense back to Shotwell Stadium on Friday night.

Abilene High hosts Odessa High, and they need to win their final 2 games and get some help to get in the playoffs.
