A drive and layup by Chris Caster would put tie the game. Then the Eagles would work it around to find Calvin McGee in the corner to give Abilene High the lead with a three-pointer.
They would continue to pile it on with a pick-and-roll between Darian Bradfor and Diamond Gary to extend the Eagle lead.
From there they would cruise to a 78-60 win, and pick up the elusive first district victory.
