Brandon Lawson, the 26-year-old San Angelo man who went missing near HWY 277 near Bronte on August 9 of last year, remains missing, and now an effort is being made to squash rumors that Lawson had left on his own.

MissingBrandonLawson.com has posted missing posters put out by both the Texas Department of Public Safety and LostnMissing.org which list Lawson’s case as “involuntary.”

The hope is that this knowledge will help push search efforts and bring Lawson safely home to his family, or at least discover what happened to Lawson so that his family can finally grieve the loss.

The last Lawson was heard from was a 9-1-1 call during which Lawson told dispatchers he had run out of gas in a field headed toward Abilene. He requested police assistance before the call was cut off.

The posters can also be seen on the Help Find Brandon Lawson Facebook page.
