Father of Aggravated Assault Suspect Speaks Out

The father of 20-year-old Daniel Becker says while his son is guilty of the crime he's accused of, he had reasons for his actions and shouldn't be judged so harshly by the public.
The father of the man accused of dragging another man behind his pickup is speaking out on his son's behalf.

We reported the incident earlier this week. It happened on Wednesday night outside of 'Breakers Sports Bar' in south Abilene. Witnesses say 20-year-old Daniel Becker Jr. used his truck to drag the victim, 27-year-old Jeremy Howard, nearly 1500 feet after Howard attempted to retrieve stolen property from Becker's truck.

While his son sits in the Taylor County Jail for a felony charge of aggravated assault, Daniel Becker Sr. says there is more to the story.

KTAB's LaDyrian Cole sat down with him and has his reaction to his son's arrest.
