First Baptist Church Family Life Center Gets Face Lift

The Family Life Center renovates their facility.
After 30 years in existence, the First Baptist Church Family Life Center is renovating their facility.

"Getting new bowling lanes and skating rinks," Kieth Post explains.

The director hopes that through the renovations the community will see that the church really does care about everyone's well being.

Post says, "It gives us the opportunity to let the people know that we are concerned about them. We want them to have a quality life and enjoy some of the things that we of First Baptist Church can offer."

The new facility will benefit the entire community and be a place that people of all ages can enjoy.

"Certainly sports and recreation, but also just a wholesome environment that we would like for the people to be a part of, as well as a spiritual environment," says Post.

The director says that as a Christian facility, the center has an obligation to serve all of God's people.

Post explains, "Our purpose is to serve not only our people in the church, but also the people in the community."

First Baptist Church is excited for the new changes and cannot wait to see what is soon to come.

"We're going to be here and doing a lot of great things," says Post.
