Trial Delayed for Man Accused of Kidnapping and Assaulting Little Girl

Clayton Fought was scheduled to stand trial on six different charges related to the kidnapping, raping, and abandoning of an 11-year-old girl, but it has been moved to the end of the month.
Clayton Fought was scheduled to stand trial beginning on May 4, 2015, but it has been rescheduled to the end of the month due to medical reasons.

After an 11-year-old girl was kidnapped, raped and left for dead near Lake Cisco, we soon uncovered the fact that her alleged attacker, Clayton Fought, had already been accused of previous child sex crimes.

However, Fought was never charged in the two previous cases because they never made it to the DA’s Office. The Eastland Police Department neglected to file the reports after they were investigated.

In January of 2014, Eastland PD conducted an internal investigation into the matter, resulting in multiple policy changes and regulations, as well as one officer being let go.

The case finally was given to the DA and Fought is now facing several charges that he was recently indicted on.

He is facing six charges related to child sex crimes, and a charge of aggravated kidnapping and attempted murder.
