Going Green: Toxic Plants Your Pets Should Avoid

Pets become members of the family, which is why their health and safety is so important to us. To keep your pets safe, there are a few plants pet lovers should avoid.
Our pets can be curious animals, eating anything they can find. Some plants can be toxic for animals causing serious damage. Experts recommend taking your pet to the vet immediately if you suspect they have eaten a poisonous plant. Lilies, Sago Palms, Rhododendrons, and Oleander are some example of toxic plants for pets. Even the smell of Sago Palms can be harmful to dogs and cats. Symptoms can range anywhere from a stomach ache to even death. Sometimes you pet may have no symptoms at all, until it’s too late. Most of the time medical treatment is very effective.
