How to Beat the Heat During Outdoor Workouts

Make sure to stay hydrated while working out outdoors.
The recent humidity and Summer time temperatures make some outside activities difficult this includes working out.
Work out facilities like Crossfit 325 and D-1 in Abilene often have portions of their work out routines outside in the elements.

They also have professionals on site to coach people through the work out and encourage proper hydration.
Coach Hess, D-1's head strength and conditioning coach says that its healthy to drink a gallon of water a day especially if you are working out outside or sweating a lot.

If you start to feel dizzy or see spots, Crossfit 325 owner and coach Jeremy Siglock says to stop activity immediately get into the shade and get some water.

Both coaches agree that water is the most important thing to have when working out.
