The southeastern Big Country received beneficial rain Monday afternoon. Brownwood, Mullin and Goldthwaite all measuring two inches of rain. A few storms still possible in those areas Monday night with lighter rain a slight possibility again on Tuesday. Cooler temperatures with lows near 50 early Tuesday morning and highs only reaching into the low to mid 60's. Dry weather returns Wednesday through the weekend with temperatures back in the 70's Wednesday, low 80's Thursday, near 90 Friday and low 90's this weekend.
