The eastern Big Country can expect temperatures in the upper 70's on Friday afternoon. The low Friday night should be in the middle 40's, the high Saturday will vary, cooling from north to south during the day but mid to upper 50's should be close. Saturday night the next surge of cold air pushes temperatures into the upper 20's on Sunday morning with highs Sunday only in the mid to upper 30's. Plus, light rain is expected Sunday, but with cold enough air in place, some sleet or snow could mix in with the rain. As of now, travel issues are not expected. Going into Monday look for highs around 40 with clouds and a slight chance for rain.
