The main weather story across the eastern Big Country Thursday is warmer temperatures. It will take about half the day before the warmth is evident. Lows to start Thursday will still be near freezing but afternoon highs will climb to the upper 60's. A strong southwest wind will keep a chill in the air until early afternoon. Warm weather on Friday with middle 70's before a trend to colder weather and around 58 for a high Saturday followed by 40's on Sunday. Rain showers look to be scattered about the area Sunday and a little more prevalent Monday with Tuesday being our prime time for rain.
