On a Wednesday night, watching storms moving southwest toward DFW, with the eastern Big Country to at least inherit some clouds from the system, and one computer model suggesting the storms may hang together long enough to reach the Big Country. But the storms are having to battle a big high pressure ridge, so chances are low of the storms reaching the Big Country, we'll keep watch. Highs near 99 once again Thursday and near 100 Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Early next week, a cool front will enter the Big Country, probably on Tuesday, dropping temperatures by about 10 degrees and bringing showers and storms back to our forecast by Tuesday.
