The eastern Big Country has a slight chance for storms Thursday but a much better chance for storms on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Several disturbances will be rotating through the area, bringing a round of rain and storms at least once a day. Rainfall models are suggesting one to two inches across the eastern Big Country between Friday and Monday. However, if storms can set up and train over the same area, rainfall amounts could be greater. Highs near 84 on Thursday then closer to the low 80's for the upcoming holiday weekend.
