The western and northern counties, roughly Snyder to Munday and west of that line, may see some late afternoon or early evening storms on Saturday. Otherwise, the Big Country is expected to remain windy, dry and hot Saturday. But on Sunday, a front slides into the area. That, combined with upper level energy, will lead to development of showers and thunderstorms across a large area of Texas, especially here in the Big Country. Heaviest rain of 2 to 4 inches is forecast along the Red River and into Oklahoma. Across the northern KRBC/Big Country viewing area 1 to 3 inches of rain is possible. From Abilene south to Coleman and Brownwood, rain amounts of a half inch to 1 inch are projected for Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon. Temperatures this weekend around 90 on Saturday and in the mid to upper 80's on Sunday.
