The first glimpse of a rainy weather system was seen in the Big Country Thursday evening as a line of showers and storms developed from Robert Lee to near Colorado City. Between Friday and next Tuesday, you can expect several opportunities for rain. Totals of 1 to 2 inches are projected to be common with isolated heavier amounts over 3 inches. Temperatures will be fairly steady all the way through the weekend with morning lows in the middle 60's and afternoon highs in the low to middle 80's.
