Showers are forecast to become more widespread during the overnight hours Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. With colder air moving in, and temperatures dropping to freezing or below by sunrise, a little sleet could mix with the light rain and cause some patches of ice on exposed surfaces, bridges and overpasses. While widespread hazardous travel is not anticipated, it is a good idea to allow yourself some extra time just in case as highways will be wet from the rain. The moisture ends by late in the day and by Thursday, sunshine will return. Temperatures in the upper 20's by early Wednesday morning, only in the middle 30's Wednesday afternoon (wind chills in the 20's). Highs on Thursday near 60 with middle 70's by Friday and Saturday.
