Rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches were received in northern Runnels County on Tuesday afternoon, around 2 inches in Coleman and 3 to 5 inches in the San Saba area. Slow moving storms along a front were the cause of the heavy rain. On Wednesday, a warm front will move north through the area, returning our wind to the southeast and bringing more moisture into the region. Storms may also form on the warm front Wednesday but it's an upper level system and another cold front coming in on Thursday that brings our best chance for rain. The storms on Thursday may also become severe and produce heavy rain. Highs in the low 90's Wednesday, middle 80's Thursday and Friday, low 90's Saturday, mid 90's Sunday, upper 90's Monday.
