The high pressure dome supplying our heat will remain anchored over the region through the weekend and daily highs will approach 100 degrees. There is a cold front that is forecast to move into Oklahoma and Arkansas Wednesday which could cause showers and storms. These storms would tend to move from the northeast to the southwest, down the eastern edge of the upper level low. While the chance is low that these storms will make it into the Big Country, it is something to watch on Wednesday evening and Wednesday night. Meanwhile, hot each day with highs around 100 and that will last through Sunday. Signs of slight cooling coming our way next week.
