Storms had developed around 7pm Wednesday evening in the northern Big Country in Knox, Stonewall, Haskell and Fisher counties. They will move southeast, being aided by a cold front moving into the Big Country. Storms and showers will stay in the forecast through Thursday before they move south out of the region. Temperatures dropping to highs in the middle 80's will be our big weather story for Thursday, with highs in the upper 80's Friday and near 90 all weekend. Rain is not expected in the Big Country this weekend.
