While the far western Big Country remained out of the Winter Weather Advisory late Monday night, freezing precipitation is still expected early Tuesday which could cause hazardous roads.
The western Big Country will be the first to feel the effects of our next upper level low and wintry precipitation Monday night into Tuesday morning. A mix of light freezing rain, sleet and snow is possbile. Little accumulations but any ice, obviously, leads to dangerous driving conditions. Highs in the middle 30's Tuesday after morning lows in the 20s. The moisture ends by mid-day Tuesday, skies clear Tuesday night, sunny and 55 Wednesday followed by dry and warm weather with highs in the 70's Thursday through next Monday.
