The western Big Country is in a favored area for thunderstorms to develop along the dryline Wednesday afternoon and evening. One or two storms could become severe, main threats large hail and damaging wind. The storms would then move into the Big Country, perhaps reaching Abilene. Highs in the middle 90's on Wedneday. A cool front on Thursday may offer a shower or two but drops temperatures only a few degrees for Thursday and Friday.
