Roads will be a little bit slick this morning and afternoon due to freezing drizzle, fog and mist. Highs today will be in the low 30’s with not much of a warm up this afternoon. A stronger system will move in from the west tonight combining with cold air to produce freezing rain in the Big Country and Heartland. Dry air will keep ice accumulations rather light, however it doesn’t take much to make the roadways a little bit slick, especially on bridges and overpasses. We’ll see more sunshine on Wednesday with highs in the mid 50’s. By the end of the workweek we’ll be in the 70’s.
