KTAB Regional Forecast Eastern Big Country: AM July 2nd, 2014

Rain Moves South
We’re waking up to quite a bit of cloud cover this morning with a few chances for rain later this afternoon, beginning around lunchtime. Highs today will be in the upper 80’s and low 90’s. The rain will develop somewhere around I-20 and will eventually move to the south overnight. By Thursday rain chances exit the Big Country and travel to the south towards the Heartland. Severe threat both days looks rather low. Some gusty winds and frequent lightning is possible with any storm that does develop. The holiday looks dry but plenty warm with highs near average, into the mid 90’s.
