KTAB Regional Forecast Eastern Big Country: AM May 5th, 2014

Hot and Dry For Now
Highs this afternoon will be well into the 90’s with plenty of sunshine. Winds today will be up there, gusting up to 25 or 30 miles per hour. Lows tonight will provide a little bit of relief from the heat, with temperatures cooling into the upper 60’s by Tuesday morning. Highs on Tuesday will be a degree or two cooler than today, but still windy. The dryline will retreat Wednesday morning before marching east during the day. Showers and thunderstorms are possible beginning Wednesday morning and extending through the first half of Thursday. Some of the storms could turn severe with large hail and gusty winds. The muggy feel will be on the rise as the week goes on.
