Most of us will stay dry today with highs in the mid to upper 80’s and a slight muggy feel. Lows tonight will be in the upper 60’s with partly cloudy skies. Can’t rule out a stray shower or thunderstorm in the Heartland over the next twenty four hours, but chances are lower than ten percent. We have a better chance for rain tomorrow as the low now in Louisiana begins to move west. The western edge of the weakening storm could spark off a few storms east of Abilene both on Friday and Saturday. Highs will be in the low 90’s next week with a high muggy feel and plenty of sunshine.
